China's crude oil imports from Iran increase in June
According to the latest statistics issued by China's Customs House, this country imported 671,800 barrels of crude oil from Iran daily in June.
China, as the biggest customer of Iranian oil, imported 2.760 million tons of crude oil in June, which in comparison with May showed an increase of 29.6 percent and 26.5 perceent compared to the same month the preceding year.
Considering growing trend of China's oil imports from Iran, market analysts had predicted that the figure would exceed 510,000 barrels per day. It is expected that oil importing countries, especially Asian ones would purchase more crude oil from Iran in coming months, especially after cancellation of the UNSC anti-Iran sanctions.
Meanwhile, China imported 1.290 million barrels of oil per day from Saudi Arabia and 920,000 barrels a day from Russia in June.
